C+D Artist – Wearable Art: Erica Gordon

Erica Gordon creates objects that are both functional and decorative, mixing media in unexpected ways that highlight their strengths. She employs her blacksmithing foundation as a starting point, but often finds herself using a combination of both traditional and renegade techniques to create distinct, modern fashion and home accessories under the name Steel Toe Studios, est. 2003 in Seattle.  She will be located at Booth 17 during the Craft + Design Show on Nov. 20-21.
